Welcome to the 2018 American Association of Geographers’ Annual Meeting in New Orleans, LA! You will be joined by fellow geographers, GIS specialists, environmental scientists, and other leaders for the latest in research and applications in geography, sustainability, and GIScience. The meeting will be held from April 10-14, 2018, and will feature over 6,900 presentations, posters, workshops, and field trips by leading scholars, experts, and researchers.

The 2018 Meeting will be headquartered at the Marriott French Quarter New Orleans, located on Canal Street in the French Quarter of New Orleans. Sessions and events will also take place at the official 2018 AAG Meeting hotels: the Sheraton New Orleans and the Astor Crowne Plaza. The additional meeting venues are located steps away from the Marriott French Quarter.

2017 AAG Annual Meeting

2017 AAG Annual Meeting will be held in Boston, April 5-April 9, 2017. The meeting will host as many as 9,500 geographers, GIS specialists, and environmental scientists from around the world. It will feature thousands of presentations, posters, workshops, and field trips by leading scholars, experts, and researchers. It will take place at the Hynes Convention Center, Marriott Copley Place and the Sheraton Boston.
